Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions we get every week. The app isn't on the App Store yet. These describe what you can expect at launch and what's true today.

When is Everglo launching?

Everglo is currently in late‑stage development at Everglo Wellness Technology Limited. We are aiming for a launch on the iOS App Store in 2026. There is no public beta at this stage.

How will I create an account at launch?

Open Everglo on iPhone and tap Get Started. You can sign up three ways: email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. With Apple you can use Hide My Email if you prefer not to share your real address.

You can add your first name and menopause stage in‑app once you're in, or skip and add them later from Profile.

Authentication runs through Supabase. Apple handles all paid flows, so you never enter card details inside the app.

How does a check‑in work?

From the dashboard, tap the Check in button. Pick how you slept, log any hot flashes, rate your mood, and flag anything else that's on your mind. Most check‑ins take under thirty seconds.

You don't need to fill every field. The Glo Score uses whatever data you give it and fills in gaps over time.

What's the Glo Score and how is it calculated?

The Glo Score is a 0–100 composite wellness indicator built from your check‑ins across the five pillars: Movement, Mind, Nutrition, Sleep, and Lifestyle. It updates as you log new data.

It is a wellness signal, not a medical metric. It does not diagnose anything and is not a substitute for a clinician's assessment. Use it to spot trends and bring patterns to your next appointment.

Will it work offline?

Yes. Everglo is offline‑first by design. You can log check‑ins, read Glo Practices, and browse the Evidence Library without a connection. Data stays on your device in SwiftData until you're back online.

Once you reconnect, encrypted sync pushes your new entries so your records are safe if you lose or replace your phone.

How will I export a report for my doctor?

Open Settings · Reports · Export PDF. Choose a date range (14, 30, 60, or 90 days) and tap Generate. Everglo builds a clinician‑ready PDF summarising your symptoms, sleep quality, mood, hot flashes, and pillar trends.

You can save it to Files, AirDrop it, or attach it to an email straight from the share sheet. The PDF is a tool for your appointment, not a diagnosis.

How will subscriptions work?

Apple handles all subscription changes. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Everglo. From there you can change plan, pause, or cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Apple requires this routing for every app on the App Store. Everglo cannot cancel on your behalf from inside the app.

Will I be able to delete my account and data?

Yes. Open Profile · Settings · Delete Account and confirm twice. Local SwiftData is wiped immediately. All Supabase records are erased within 30 days, Sentry crash data within 90 days, and PostHog anonymous events within 90 days. If you signed in with Apple or Google, we revoke our authentication tokens with those providers using their official revocation APIs.

Already uninstalled the app? You can still request deletion by email at our Account Deletion page.

Deletion is irreversible. Exported PDFs you already saved to your device or email remain yours.

What data will Everglo collect?

Account data (email and optional name), profile data (age range, menopause stage, pillar goals), health check‑ins (symptoms, hot flashes, sleep quality, mood), subscription transaction IDs via Apple and RevenueCat, and anonymous crash and usage data through Sentry and PostHog.

Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which matches our App Store Connect questionnaire word for word.

Will Everglo share data with advertisers?

No. Not at launch, not ever. We do not sell health data. We do not share identifiable data with advertisers. We do not use health data for ads or data mining. We do not send your identifiable health data to any third‑party AI service without your explicit consent.

See Privacy for the named processors we use (Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog, Sentry) and what each one receives.

How do I turn off analytics?

Decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt at first launch and no cross‑app tracking happens. You can change your mind any time in iOS Settings · Privacy & Security · Tracking · Everglo.

In‑app, open Profile · Privacy · Analytics to toggle product analytics off. The app works fully either way.

Is Everglo medical advice?

No. Everglo provides wellness information and lifestyle support. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The Glo Score, Insights, and Reports are wellness indicators, not clinical assessments.

Always speak to a qualified clinician about your symptoms and before starting or changing any treatment, including hormone therapy. Read our full Medical Disclaimer.

When something isn't working

Once Everglo is on your iPhone, start here before emailing support. Most issues resolve in under a minute.

  • App won't open

Force‑quit Everglo and relaunch. If it still won't open, reinstall the app. Your data stays in Supabase and re‑syncs after you sign in.

  • Sync issues

Pull to refresh on the dashboard. Check your internet connection. If new entries still aren't appearing across devices, sign out and back in to force a fresh sync.

  • Subscription not showing

Open the paywall from Profile · Premium and tap Restore Purchases. Confirm the Apple ID signed in on your device matches the one used to purchase.

  • Notifications not arriving

Open iOS Settings · Notifications · Everglo and enable Allow Notifications. Check that Focus modes or Do Not Disturb are not filtering the app.

  • Report export fails

Export needs at least seven days of check‑ins to generate a useful PDF. Try a shorter date range. If it still fails, email support with the error message you saw.

  • Restore purchases did nothing

Confirm you're signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase. Check Family Sharing status if a family member bought it. Still stuck? Email support@everglo.app with your receipt.

Your data, your choice

At launch, you'll be able to export, correct, or erase your data at any time. Apple requires in‑app deletion for any app that creates an account, and Everglo goes further with clear retention timelines.

  1. Request an export

Inside the app: Profile · Privacy · Export Account. Account data arrives as JSON and health data as a PDF by email within 30 days. Or email privacy@everglo.app with the subject line "Data Access Request".

  2. Delete everything

Open Profile · Settings · Delete Account. Local SwiftData is wiped immediately. Supabase records are erased within 30 days. Sentry and PostHog anonymous data within 90 days. This cannot be undone.

  3. Retention timeline

Account and health data are kept for the life of the account. After deletion: Supabase within 30 days, Sentry within 90 days, PostHog within 90 days. Full detail lives on the Privacy Choices page.

Built to be usable

Everglo will support Dynamic Type up to the iOS maximum, so text scales without clipping. VoiceOver will read every screen with proper labels and headings. Reduced Motion disables the warm‑sun animation and other transitions. Colour contrast meets a 4.5:1 floor across the interface.

If something isn't working for you, email accessibility@everglo.app and describe the screen and the iOS assistive feature you're using. We fix accessibility bugs fast.
