Your data, your decision

Account Deletion

Last Updated: 2026-05-03

You can delete your Everglo account and all associated data at any time. This page lists every path. The fastest is the in-app button. The web path is for people who have already uninstalled the app.

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open Everglo on your iPhone and follow these steps.

  1. Tap Profile.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm twice.

The in-app flow is the only path Apple requires for users who still have the app installed. It works whether you signed up with email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.

2. Delete by email (for users who have uninstalled)

If you no longer have the app installed, send us a deletion request by email.

  1. Email privacy@everglo.app from the email address on your Everglo account, with the subject line “Delete My Account.”
  2. We reply with a six-digit one-time passcode sent to that same email address.
  3. You confirm receipt by replying with the passcode.
  4. We process the deletion within 30 days and confirm it by email.

This authentication method protects you from someone else asking us to delete your data.

3. What gets deleted, and when

Deletion is irreversible. The retention timeline is below.

  • Local SwiftData on your device. Wiped immediately when you confirm in-app deletion.
  • Supabase records (account, profile, health check-ins, and reports). Erased within 30 days.
  • Sentry crash data. Purged within 90 days.
  • PostHog anonymous events. Purged within 90 days.
  • Backups. Roll off on the same schedule. We do not restore deleted accounts from backup.

Files you have already exported to your device or email (such as doctor-ready PDF reports) remain yours and are not affected.

4. Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google

If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, we revoke your authentication tokens through Apple’s REST API as part of the deletion. If you signed up with Sign in with Google, we revoke your tokens through Google’s OAuth revocation endpoint.

This means Everglo cannot use those credentials again. Your underlying Apple ID or Google account is unaffected.

5. Active subscriptions

If you have an active Everglo Premium subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel Apple’s billing. Cancel the subscription in iOS Settings before, during, or after deletion.

  1. Open iOS Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Everglo and choose Cancel Subscription.

Apple, not Everglo, handles all subscription billing.

6. What we keep, and why

Some records are kept for limited legal reasons after deletion.

  • Apple subscription transaction records, where required by tax or accounting law.
  • Records of the deletion request itself, so we can prove we honoured it.
  • Information needed to defend a legal claim, where one is pending or threatened.

None of these records contain consumer health data. They are limited to billing identifiers and the metadata of your request.

7. Other data rights

Account deletion is one of several rights you have. Before you delete, you may want to exercise one of the others.

  • Export your data. Download your account and health data first. See Privacy Choices.
  • Correct your data. Edit profile fields directly in the app, or email privacy@everglo.app for fields you cannot edit yourself.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics. Decline App Tracking Transparency, or toggle analytics off in Profile · Privacy.

For Washington residents, see the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for additional rights under the My Health My Data Act.

8. Contact

For questions about deletion, write to privacy@everglo.app. We respond within 5 business days.
